Role
We are looking for a Warehouse Team Manager (Nights) to join our flagship M&S site in Bradford. You’ll be responsible for delivering operational excellence in efficiency, quality and cost for your area and team, through the development of people, processes, facilities and deployment of best practices.
Shifts
We currently have two full-time, permanent positions and the shifts are:
* Sunday to Thursday – Sunday 18:00 to 06:00, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 22:00 to 06:00 and Thursday 22:00 to 02:00 (requires 1 Saturday per month, 18:00 to 06:00)
* Tuesday to Saturday – Tuesday 22:00 to 02:00, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 22:00 to 06:00 and Saturday 18:00 to 06:00
Pay and Benefits
You’ll be paid a salary of up to £34,000.00 per annum, plus up to 15% night shift allowance. You’ll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), with option to buy additional days for a better work-life balance. What you’ll do
* Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the warehouse in your area; you’ll lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve challenging targets
* Ensure resource planning is effectively carried out to optimise resources and efficiencies
* With a good understanding of Health & Safety, ensure operational processes are compliant with policies, while accurately identifying risks and escalating findings
* Effectively communicate with all stakeholders to understand customer and company requirements, incorporating them into planning and reporting tools, activities and projects
What you need to succeed
* A proven track record at team leader level within a fast-paced warehouse environment
* The ability to lead, develop and manage a team, identify areas for development and recognise success
* Excellent people skills; our people are essential to operations
* The ability to investigate and report findings, engaging with all levels within the site
