About the Role
This part-time position focuses primarily on prescription administration during our Saturday and Sunday operations (weekday hours available also if needed), with occasional support on customer phone lines—particularly on Saturday mornings.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support (Saturday Morning Only):
* Provide first-point resolution for incoming calls (phone lines open until 12:00).
* Monitor call queues and assist with customer queries.
* Escalate urgent or sensitive issues appropriately.
Prescription Administration (Primary Focus):
* Process incoming prescriptions using internal systems.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (full training provided).
* Accurately input medication volumes and prescription data.
* Liaise with our internal vet team to resolve queries or discrepancies.
* Flag and escalate any safety concerns or issues related to prescription validity or customer welfare.
What We're Looking For

Working Pattern
We're looking for someone who can commit to our core weekend shifts, which are essential to this role:
* Saturday: 08:00 – 17:00 (8 hours)
* Sunday: 10:00 – 16:00 (6 hours)
This gives a minimum of 14 hours per week.
If you'd prefer to work up to 8 hours on both days, we're happy to accommodate that — bringing the weekend total to 16 hours.
We're also offering the option to increase your weekly hours up to 22 hours, by adding a weekday shift. Ideally, we'd love support on Fridays, but Thursdays are also available if that suits you better.
