Duties of a Security Officer will include:
1. Meet and Greet
2. Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally
3. Manage all systems within the security control base
4. Ensure vigilance and maintain a professional presence
5. Produce accurate reports as needed
6. Act as an effective liaison between the client and the company Contract Manager
7. Represent Samsic UK Security and the client as an ambassador
8. Manage inbound and outbound vehicles
9. Work with vulnerable adults
10. Exhibit excellent verbal communication skills, a pleasant manner, approachability, and clear speech
11. Provide excellent customer care
12. Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety
13. Possess basic computer literacy
14. Demonstrate basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports
15. Show good observation skills
16. Be flexible with changing working hours and patterns
Minimum criteria to work for Samsic:
1. Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
2. Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for at least 12 months
3. Fluency in spoken and written English
4. Five-year checkable employment history, including a HMRC 3-year Work History record at interview
5. Complete site training
6. Participation in the apprentice scheme (available to all)
7. Eligibility for reward and recognition scheme
8. Participation in pension scheme
9. SIA Licence paid for by the employer
10. Structured roster pattern
