The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, service, repair, and maintenance of our full range of coding and marking products available in the UK.
The successful candidate is someone who has a passion for success, is open to developing and being challenged, thrives under pressure, and continually seeks to improve, and will be in the Sheffield / Nottingham or surrounding areas.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
* The successful candidate will respond to breakdowns on customer sites, quickly performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on units to guarantee that our products operate to the required standards.
* Striving to maintain and grow customer relationships through excellent customer service and communication and implement any necessary corrective actions.
* Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from field service visits.
* As a remote field service engineer, you will travel daily to and from your home address to customer sites across the midlands and further afield when required.
* This role may include pre-arranged occasional nights away from home.
The essential requirements of the job include:
* At least three years’ experience gained within a technical / engineering customer service or field service role.
* A proven track record of working in a field service capacity, gained within a customer-focused environment with problem-solving experience within an electronics/electro-mechanical, or a relevant technical discipline.
* A full UK driving licence.
