We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity at Potens for a Senior Support Worker. Heathfield Gardens is a residential care home located in Tibshelf for up to 11 adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. What we’ll give you

* £13.21 per hour.
* 35 hours per week – shifts will include 7 am-2 pm, 2 pm-9 pm and waking nights 9 pm-7 am. Weekend working is required on a rota basis.

What you’ll be doing

* Assist in managing the care of the people that live with us, monitoring the quality and delivery of the service.
* Lead by example, motivate and develop the team to deliver a high-quality provision.
* Promoting independence with the people we support with all aspects of personal care, cooking, cleaning, key working and general life skills.
* In house activities - baking, art/crafts, board games, sensory activities, reading etc.
* You will be adventurous, outgoing, and willing to participate in the chosen activities of the people we support.


Who you are

* An existing Senior Support worker or an experienced Support worker looking to progress.
* You can work well within a team and also when working alone.
* You will be adventurous, outgoing, and willing to participate in the chosen activities of the people we support.
* Every day is different, so we are looking for someone who is filled with enthusiasm, motivation, and a positive outlook.
* Flexible with a can-do attitude.
* A motivated and passionate individual that can make a difference to the lives of the people we support.
* An NVQ level 2 and 3 is desirable.
* You will need to live within 15 miles of Tibshelf or drive and have your own vehicle due to shift times.
