Health and Safety Manager Rochford or Stowmarket Permanent, Full-time Mon-Fri, 7am-4:30pm Salary up to £60,000 DOE Call Beth on 07719 983 823 or email beth.allen@hirecracker.com We're recruiting an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) across a well-established organisation operating in the water, drainage and utilities sector. This is a senior, hands-on role focused on compliance, continuous improvement and embedding a strong safety culture across multiple sites. The Role: * Lead and manage the SHEQ strategy across operations * Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation, CDM and environmental regulations * Maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems * Review RAMS and safe systems of work * Deliver audits, training, toolbox talks and performance reporting * Investigate incidents, manage RIDDOR reporting and drive corrective actions * Support site managers and contribute to tenders and environmental initiatives What We're Looking For: * NEBOSH General Certificate (or higher) * IOSH or IEMA membership * SHEQ experience within construction, utilities or drainage * Strong knowledge of UK legislation and ISO standards * Confident communicator, willing to travel across sites What's On Offer: * Enhanced family leave * Pension, life assurance (4x salary) * Cash plan for medical and dental costs * Employee assistance programme * Competitive holiday allowance * Training and long-term career progression
