Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday Friday, plus 1 in 2 Saturday mornings
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable HGV Technician to join our busy workshop in Witney. Youll be carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of heavy goods vehicles to ensure they are kept to the highest safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain HGVs to DVSA standards
Carry out routine servicing and inspections
Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
Prepare vehicles for MOT testing
Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
Work effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines
Ensure health & safety and compliance procedures are followed
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent experience)
Previous experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
