Cover Supervisor
30 hours per week
Grade 7
Fixed Term – 1 year
Start Date: 21st August 2025
We have an exciting opportunity for an additional Cover supervisor to be appointed at our school. As a Cover Supervisor you will provide supervision of classes across different year groups in the event of the absence (planned or unplanned) of the teacher. You must have experience of working across the year groups, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with pupils and staff. The role requires the candidate to be flexible, creative and have a sound knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
•Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Support students in their learning, promoting a positive and respectful environment
• Report back on student progress and behaviour to the relevant teacher
• Work collaboratively with staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
•Provide general classroom support, assisting with activities and learning resources
