Residential Conveyancer / 8+ PQE / West Midlands / Competitive Salary / An established and well-regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Head of Residential Property to join its team on a succession-planned basis. Call Theresa on 454 and quote Job Ref: TL2673.
Responsibilities
* Lead the residential conveyancing department, with responsibility for managing two offices and overseeing the day-to-day running of the team.
* Handle high quality residential property work, including transactions for high net worth clients currently handled at Partner level.
* Develop internal referral relationships and contribute to the strategic development of the firm.
* Work primarily from the office with the flexibility to work from home one to two days per week.
* Progress into the firm’s management team in the longer term.
The Candidate
* Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with 8+ years' PQE in residential property.
* Strong technical expertise across the full range of residential conveyancing matters.
* Experience supervising and mentoring other fee earners.
* Commercial awareness, proactive leadership, and an interest in contributing to the firm’s strategic development.
* This opportunity may suit a Senior Residential Conveyancer seeking to step into a Head of Department role or an existing department head seeking a stable, succession-planned role with long-term progression into senior leadership.
