Contract: Full-Time
Pay: £34,398 – £52,490 per year

Supply Desk is working in partnership with a friendly and well-regarded primary school in Downley, seeking a committed and motivated Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a pivotal Upper KS2 role and support pupils through an important stage of their academic journey.
About the Role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a vital role in preparing pupils for SATs and the transition to secondary school, while creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Taking full responsibility for a Year 6 class
* Delivering high-quality and engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
* Preparing pupils for SATs, including targeted interventions
* Planning, assessing, and adapting learning to meet individual needs
* Promoting resilience, independence, and high expectations
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to support strong outcomes

What We’re Looking For

You will ideally:
* Hold QTS or PGCE (unqualified teachers also welcome to apply)
* Have experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 6
* Be confident in delivering SATs-focused teaching and interventions
* Demonstrate strong behaviour and classroom management
* Be organised, proactive, and committed to pupil progress
* Be enthusiastic, reflective, and keen to contribute to school life
