About the Role
We are seeking Locum Pharmacists to provide safe, effective, and patient-focused pharmacy services in London. Locum assignments may be available in community pharmacies, hospital settings, GP practices, and primary care services, supporting clinical care, dispensing operations, and medicines optimisation.
This is a flexible opportunity for pharmacists who enjoy variety, can adapt quickly to new teams and systems, and maintain high standards of professional practice.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide pharmacy services in line with GPhC standards, SOPs, and contractual requirements
2. Clinically check prescriptions for appropriateness, interactions, contraindications, and dosing
3. Dispense and supervise dispensing activity accurately and safely
4. Provide patient counselling on medication use, side effects, adherence, and self-care
5. Support and supervise pharmacy teams (technicians, dispensers, counter staff) and maintain efficient workflow
6. Manage controlled drugs and ensure safe storage, record-keeping, and regulatory compliance
