This consultancy is keen to take on an Engineer who specializes in Infrastructure and drainage to join their team.
The role:
1. Preparation of site appraisals
2. Undertake feasibility and pre-planning assessments of engineering infrastructure
3. Peer review of documents, designs, and drawings completed by other team members to ensure consistent high quality and compliance with design standards, industry best practice, contractual obligations, and client expectations
4. Liaison with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders
5. Attendance at design meetings, site meetings, and undertaking site inspections
6. Ensure that all work is carried out in full compliance with the company's Quality Management System
7. Provide technical guidance, support, and training to junior colleagues and assist, where practicable, in mentoring and development of others
8. Work in both supervised and unsupervised environments, ensuring that the technical content of all work is correct and completed within agreed timescales and budgets
9. Report to the appropriate team leader on technical issues related to project work
10. Collaborate closely with team members and other disciplines, understanding their roles
11. Production of CAD and 3D modelling in conjunction with other Project Engineers/Technicians
12. Quality Control for CAD and 3D modelling production
13. Outputs to company CAD standards and compliance with project and BIM protocols
14. Undertaking other tasks as delegated by Project Engineers/Managers
15. Adhere to the company's Health and Safety Policy
What you need to succeed:
* UK design consultancy experience across various sectors
* Experience in client liaison and commercial awareness
* Knowledge of Section Agreements 278, 38, 185, and 104
* Proficiency with software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, InfoDrainage, or equivalents
* Hands-on approach with a desire to stay engaged in design, project management, and delivery
* Good organization, communication, and presentation skills
* At least 3 years of industry experience and a desire to advance your career
