Grounds Cleaner
Coventry - Full Time
We're looking for a dedicated Grounds Cleaner to help maintain the cleanliness and safety of outdoor areas at the University Hospital Coventry & Warwick as part of our FM team. This is an important role that helps create a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
You'll be responsible for keeping paths, entrances, car parks, and green spaces clean and tidy, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation across the hospital grounds.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sweeping, litter picking, and general cleaning of outdoor areas
2. Emptying and sanitising external bins
3. Clearing leaves, debris, and snow when required
4. Reporting any hazards or maintenance issues
5. Supporting the wider facilities team when needed
6. Following health and safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
You will have experience working on grounds maintenance or outdoor cleaning due to litter picking or street cleaning in a busy environment as well as:

8. Good awareness of health and safety
9. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
