* Manage safeguarding practices in compliance with policies and legislation, including handling adult and child referrals with a trauma-informed approach.

* Provide line management, training, supervision, and development for Team Leaders and Support Workers within an inclusive framework.

* Support risk management initiatives by assessing and positively managing risk, supporting team members in complex and emergency situations.

* Oversee delegated budget management tasks, including procurement, in collaboration with the finance department.

* Represent the organisation in multi-agency meetings such as MARAC and support case management, particularly in complex or crisis situations.

* Lead internal team meetings, promote effective communication, and foster service development and continuous improvement.

* Ensure data compliance and conduct regular audits, providing improvement plans where necessary.

* Contribute to external reporting obligations, including funding reports and national standards, supporting transparency and accountability.

* Promote a voice for adults and children in service design and sector engagement initiatives.

* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accessible, clear referral pathways and a whole-team approach to support.

* Uphold the organisation’s mission, vision, and core values by demonstrating trauma-informed practice, compassion, integrity, and equity.

* Participate in external events, training, and organisational activities, representing the charity professionally and safeguarding its reputation.

* Support the organisation’s environmental sustainability initiatives through participation in carbon-reducing campaigns.

* Take on additional duties as needed to support the effective delivery of services and organisational goals.

Requirements:

* Experience in trauma-informed support services, ideally within domestic and sexual abuse settings.

* Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams, including recruitment, supervision, and development.

* Knowledge of safeguarding policies, risk assessment, and legislation relevant to vulnerable adults and children.

* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multi-agency settings.

* Ability to manage data and reporting duties accurately and efficiently.

* Flexible working approach, with availability for occasional evening and weekend work, and adaptable start/finish times.

* Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, demonstrating a proactive approach to challenging discrimination.

Additional Information:
