ABC Teachers is seeking a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Special Educational Needs school in Telford. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2025, where you’ll play a key role in supporting primary-aged pupils with moderate learning needs in a nurturing, inclusive setting. Your Responsibilities Will Include: • Delivering 1:1 and small group support within the classroom • Helping to foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment • Working alongside teaching staff to tailor support based on individual needs About the School: • A supportive setting catering to pupils with ASD, ADHD, and a range of moderate learning difficulties • Strong sense of community and a committed, experienced team • Easily accessible via public transport, with great local links ✅ Who We’re Looking For: • Someone with a calm, patient, and confident approach to behaviour management • Previous experience working with children who have SEN or additional needs • Excellent communication skills to build trust and support learning • Able to provide professional references, hold a valid DBS, and have the Right to Work in the UK All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
