The role
Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for an experienced IT professional with strong technical and collaborative leadership skills. You should be able to contribute to strategic planning, project delivery, and the day-to-day support of IT services. You should have experience leading teams and providing senior technical and managerial leadership. You should be comfortable working across all levels of an organisation and supporting colleagues and end users. We will require successful candidates to undergo child protection screening, including references, an enhanced DBS check, and eligibility to work in the UK. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Responsibilities: We will have you lead day-to-day IT operations across our three schools. You will deputise for the Director of IT when required. You will provide senior technical and managerial leadership to our IT team. You will drive service excellence, technical standards, cyber resilience, and continuous improvement. You will support the strategic leadership, operational management, and development of IT services across the School. You will help deliver technology services, infrastructure, cyber security, and digital innovation. You will contribute to major projects and evaluate emerging technologies, including the safe and effective use of artificial intelligence in education. In the absence of the Director of IT, you will assume operational leadership of the department and represent the School at relevant internal meetings. You will be involved in urgent strategic and security decision-making as needed.
