About the Role
Join a national engineering company as an experienced Electronics Engineer in our newly established repair, verification, and calibration workshop in Frampton on Severn, Gloucestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new technical facility from the ground up, working with leading-edge test equipment and supporting customers across the UK & Ireland.
As part of the role, you will receive one week of intensive manufacturer training in Canada, before returning to the UK to apply your expertise and support the development of this new service.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out fault diagnosis, repair, and calibration of electronic test equipment.
* Perform verification and functional testing in line with industry standards.
* Complete complex component-level repairs, requiring excellent soldering and rework skills.
* Document repairs, calibrations, and quality control processes accurately.
* Provide technical support and service to customers across the UK & Ireland.
* Work closely with the manufacturer and internal teams to maintain technical excellence.
* Ensure the workshop remains safe, efficient, and well-organised.
About You
* Experienced Electronics Engineer, ideally with a background in repair and calibration.
* Highly skilled in soldering, including fine-pitch and complex component-level work.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a sound knowledge of electronics.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and manuals.
* High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
* Fluent in spoken and written English.
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexible to travel internationally for training.
* Available to start immediately.
