Overview
Viewforth High School, Kirkcaldy, Fife — a six-year comprehensive school. We are looking for a highly-skilled Teacher who is passionate about improving life chances for all through a professional commitment to making a difference for all of our children and young people so that they achieve their full potential. As a Teacher in Fife you will lead learning within your classroom context, promote inclusion, diversity and equality, communicate with other stakeholders and contribute to wider improvements across the school community.
Proposed Interview Date: Week Commencing 29 September 2025. Closing Date: Sunday 28 September 2025. Contract Type: Temporary until 22 February 2026. Salary: £33,594 - £50,589. Working Pattern: 35 hours per week. Location: Viewforth High School, Kirkcaldy, Fife.

* Support pupils to develop self-worth and positive school destinations on leaving school.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Full General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) registration. For posts within primary, GTCS registration in primary; for secondary, GTCS registration in the relevant subject.
* Commitment to professional learning and evidence of its impact on practice.
* Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership via Disclosure Scotland prior to appointment.
* Ability to model the behaviour expected of a Teacher in Scotland in line with Professional Standards.
* Full registration is required for permanent posts; for temporary posts, provisional GTCS registration may be considered. If applicable, GTCS registration in Further Education must include primary or secondary registration as determined by Fife Council.
