Nursery Assistant, Cwmbran, £13.85 – £14.50 per hour Role Overview We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our agency team, supporting a well-established nursery in the Cwmbran area. As a Nursery Assistant, you will help staff provide high-quality care and early learning experiences for young children, contributing to their development and well-being. Key Responsibilities Supporting children’s play, learning, and daily routines to create a stimulating and engaging environment Helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and organised setting that promotes learning and development Assisting staff with supervision, meal and snack times, and hygiene routines Setting up and tidying away activities and resources throughout the day Engaging positively with children to encourage confidence, independence, and curiosity Required Skills & Experience At least 6 months UK early years experience with an understanding of childcare principles and practices Genuine interest in supporting children’s development and a passion for early years education Ability to work well within a team and follow guidance, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits Competitive hourly rate (£13.85 – £14.50), paid weekly Flexible agency shifts to support a healthy work-life balance Ongoing support and future opportunities in local early years settings About Completely Care Completely Care is a specialist recruitment agency supporting the health & social care, education, and childcare sectors.
