Position Title: Senior DFIR Consultant
Location: UK - London/ Cheltenham/ Manchester
Role Purpose:
As a Senior DFIR Consultant, you focus will be delivering high quality incident response to our clients alongside collaborating with various individuals and divisions within our business including the Threat Intelligence teams, Security Operations Centre teams, and our esteemed Red Team.
Summary:
1. Deliver incident response activities across complex security events, ensuring rapid containment, investigation, and recovery.
2. Perform advanced forensics analysis, including but not limited to, host, memory, cloud forensics.
3. Support the Incident Manager with interrogating the data to answer the investigations objectives
4. Providing clients with high-quality technical investigations.
5. Delivery of table-top exercises and training to support our clients ongoing improvements.
6. Support junior members of the team through sharing of expertise and answering of questions
What we are looking for in you:
7. 2 to 4 years of experience in incident response
8. Experience crafting scripts and tools to further enhance incident investigative efforts.
9. Experience with different IR use cases such as Ransomware or data breaches. Solid understanding of regulatory and threat landscape.
10. Usage of industry standard tooling such as X-Ways, Axiom etc.
11. Experience triaging Windows and Linux hosts.
12. Experience with Network Traffic Analysis.
13. Experience with Log Data Analysis.
14. Ability to produce high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings to clients.
15. Ability to evaluate/enhance processes and procedures.
16. A relevant professional certification such as CREST CPIA/CRIA/CCNIA/CCHIA or SANS GCFA/GNFA/GCIH.
17. Strong understanding of common enterprise technologies and configuration, including could platforms such as Azure, M365, AWS and GCP.
