About the Role
We are currently recruiting Cathode Operators to support the production of cathode materials used in battery manufacturing. This role involves operating specialist machinery, monitoring production processes, and ensuring all materials meet strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate, monitor, and maintain machinery used in the production of cathode materials.
* Follow detailed production specifications to ensure consistency and accuracy.
* Handle raw materials safely, including powders, chemicals, and pre‑mixed compounds.
* Carry out quality checks on material density, thickness, coating accuracy, and surface finish.
* Record production data, machine settings, and inspection results accurately.
* Identify, report, and help resolve equipment or process issues.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with 5S and safety standards.
* Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams.
* Adhere to all site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or machine operation (preferred but not essential).
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to follow technical instructions and standard operating procedures.
* Good awareness of safety practices within a production environment.
* Team-focused attitude and reliability in meeting production targets.
* Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and quality standards
