Our client a well established Manufacturing Organisation with sites across the UK are seeking a Quality Team Leader to join their business based in Brierley on a Permanent basis.



Industry: Steel


Contract Type: Permanent


Salary: £35, per annum


We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Quality Team leader with Health and Safety,experience to join our client's team in the steel industry. Our client is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for their employees and ensuring compliance with quality and environmental standards.


The role will be Quality & H&S. The person will be expected to run and maintain Both ISO, ,. Be able to carry out route cause analysis and respond to both Internal and external N.C.R s. Carryout continues improvement plans, While making sure we are compliant to all relevant regulations. Supervise Customer and internal audits. Maintaining all relevant paperwork, ready for submission.


Compliance Maintaining records, training matrix, accident investigations.


Mission


Manage the day to day routine and emerging work through the Quality team using established processes and procedures to perform checks and support the improvement of the company's product quality to the highest Environmental, Health and Safety standards.


Working closely with group for standardisation in the depot responsibility.



Accountabilities


Investigate customer complaints



1. Attain from the contracts team what the context of the complaint is

2. Request quality deviation evidence from customers for analysis against expected quality standards

3. Analyse production records against customer complaints

4. Conduct Symptoms Causes Remedies Actions investigation (SCRA) where deviations have occurred



Coordinate with key stakeholders to resolve customer complaints



5. Communicate full traceability and recommendations to contracts team at outcome of investigation

6. Visit customers to conduct on site investigation when appropriate

7. Conduct and/or support the implementation of health & safety and learning interventions with production and/or contracts team when appropriate



Maintain compliance records



8. Record investigation data within appropriate databases

9. Gather traceability documentation for electronic storage

10. Coordinate the distribution and calibration of measuring equipment

11. Retain and store calibration certification

12. Coordinate quality checks and third party testing of material



Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of functional professionals or other professionals to ensure that the plant meets its established targets and standards



13. Conduct interviews for internal and external candidates

14. Complete induction, on boarding and probationary reviews in a timely manner

15. Evaluate individuals' performance and set objectives for the future

16. Conduct Performance reviews within timescales

17. Manage poor performance

18. Manage attendance and timekeeping

19. Conduct Investigations, Disciplinary and Grievance procedures in line with company policy

20. Ensure HR and Payroll are provided with data and documentation as and when required

21. Seek advice from HR, Occupational Health or other support agencies e.g. ACAS, EEF



Miscellaneous or ad hoc business requirements



22. Manage specific projects or undertake specific project activity as determined by the business or line manager

23. Travel to specific locations in order to undertake role requirements as required

24. Represent your function or business at meetings or events as required

25. Undertake any reasonable request in order to support the needs of the business
