Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting both experienced and non-experienced Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. The role involves working in children's residential homes and Independent Living settings. We seek flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals interested in working within a specialist environment, where full training and qualifications are provided to suitable candidates.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs in residential or independent living environments. The goal is to create an environment catering to the young person's intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons and have diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. Candidates should have confidence, patience, and the skills to work successfully with these young people and positively impact their lives.
Responsibilities include supporting young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, supporting young people in environments such as classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will be required to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations like family contacts, school, and social activities.
Please note that you will need to complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully finish one of our induction programs before placements are offered.

9. Attend all required training and aim to achieve relevant qualifications
10. Attend work reliably and punctually, following shift patterns
11. Keep up to date with procedural and policy changes
12. Ensure health and safety for yourself and others
13. Perform any additional relevant duties as required
