SEN Tutor – Gerrards Cross (Primary & Secondary)
Location: Gerrards Cross (in-person tutoring)
Subjects: Maths & English (Primary and Secondary)
Hourly Rate: £20–£30 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Flexible – part-time or full-time hours available
We are looking for a patient, skilled, and enthusiastic SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one tuition in Gerrards Cross. This role involves working with students who have a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning differences.
You will be supporting learners at either primary or secondary level, helping them build confidence and progress in Maths and English, through tailored and accessible teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver personalised tutoring sessions in Maths and English (up to GCSE level)
* Support students with a range of SEN, adapting lessons to suit individual needs and learning styles
* Assess students' starting points and develop tailored schemes of work
* Track and report on student progress
* Create a calm, supportive learning environment that encourages engagement and confidence
Requirements:
* Experience working with children and young people with SEN (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc.)
* Confident teaching Maths and English at primary and/or secondary level
* Able to assess, plan, and deliver structured, differentiated lessons
* Patient, empathetic, and reliable
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
