Overview
About the Role: We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dedicated team, supporting the delivery of a nutritious and welcoming breakfast service for our secondary school children. This role is vital in helping to ensure our children start their day with a healthy meal in a positive environment.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast items in line with food hygiene and school standards.
* Set up and clear down the breakfast service area.
* Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.
* Support the Catering Development Manager and wider team with stock control and basic food preparation.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
* Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children.

* Previous experience in a catering or food service environment (desirable but not essential).
* A positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
