Overview
Teaching Assistant Level 2 role at Hallmoor School, part of The Forward Education Trust. Location: Hallmoor School, 50 Scholars Gate, Kitts Green, Birmingham, B33 0DL. Hours: 32.5 hours per week – Term Time Only. Start Date: ASAP.
Forward Education Trust was established in 2017 and is a rapidly growing Multi Academy Trust serving special schools across the West Midland area. Hallmoor School caters for a diverse pupil population with a wide range of educational difficulties, including moderate, severe, and complex needs, with some pupils requiring additional adult support and specialist intervention.
Responsibilities
* Provide support for pupils with diverse needs, including communication, physical, sensory, behavioural or autistic difficulties, ensuring inclusion in lessons and activities.
* Work within the team to implement planned learning activities and support strategies.
* Support the safeguarding and welfare of pupils in accordance with school policies.
* Contribute to the learning environment by enabling pupils to access learning opportunities and participate in activities.
