We are looking for a PEP (Personal Education Plan) Co-Ordinator to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £27,117 to £29,615 per annum.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
* Lead on the development and implementation of each individual students Personal Education Plan (PEP) as required.
* To arrange, attend and chair, as required, PEP meetings in conjunction with social workers, virtual schools and internal college teams.
* Ensuring students personal, emotional and academic needs are prioritised.
* Make sure the young person has a voice in setting learning targets.
* Developing and monitoring systems for liaising with carers, social workers, health professionals and the Virtual School/s in relation to the education needs and progress of the student.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold a relevant level 3 qualification (Advice & Guidance, Youth Work, Teaching, Mentoring)
* GCSE grade C/4 or above in English and Maths or equivalent
* Have experience of working with a wide range of young people with different and sometimes challenging needs
* Experience of chairing meetings
* Have knowledge and /or experience of identifying and supporting young people with a range of issues and barriers to learning
* Experience of working with social care and other external agencies
