Salary: Up to £37,232 depending on experience + £2,000 annual bonus*
Permanent contract | 40 hours per week on a rota basis | Welcome bonus: £1,000**
Responsibilities
* Create varied and nutritional menus aligned with residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
* Lead, train and mentor kitchen staff to deliver an excellent dining experience.
* Maintain high standards of food quality and innovate in cooking techniques.
* Ensure mandatory paperwork is completed: COSHH, HACCP, company policies, budgets, orders and deliveries.
* Prepare catering for special events and seasonal activities such as summer fete, Christmas party and birthdays (as required).
Qualifications and Skills
A passion for cooking and prior experience in a fresh‑food kitchen. Relevant hygiene certificates. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Ability to maintain high standards, innovate and support the kitchen team. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a caring attitude towards residents.
