Duties
* Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
* Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as required.
* Help with inventory management by storing supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
* Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery.
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is advantageous.
* Experience in hospitality or hotel settings will be beneficial for understanding the fast-paced nature of the role.
