JOB TITLE:Customer Proposition Manager, Markets & Treasury Operations

SALARY:£65,000 - £79,000

LOCATIONS:Birmingham / Edinburgh

HOURS:Full-Time

WORKING PATTERN:Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites


About This Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and thoughtful individual to join the Markets and Treasury Operations team as aCustomer Proposition Manager, helping to deliver a high-quality, data-driven service model for Lloyds Banking Group customers.

You’ll be part of a high-performing team, responsible for shaping and managing a customer proposition that reflects the needs of Markets and Treasury Operations, while also contributing to the CIB COO service proposition workstream.

To succeed, you’ll bring a strong understanding of Markets products and their life cycles, and be confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience of delivering enhanced client experience by understanding client needs and developing service propositions that drive client satisfaction is key.

Markets & Treasury Operationsfocus on all Markets trade settlement activities for LBCM, Lloyds Bank/Bank of Scotland, and GCT. We strive to build a world-class settlement function that adds to our value proposition by engaging our resources and partnering with market leaders in automation and AI to deliver seamless, efficient, and controlled trading processes.

As Customer Proposition Manager, you’ll use your undearstanding of end-to-end data flows to develop a credible and differentiated service offering. This includes how data is ingested, transformed, validated, and processed to reveal the true customer journey.

You’ll need to anticipate future customer needs, apply your knowledge of product life cycles, and collaborate effectively across Markets Operations, CIB COO, and front office teams in a dynamic, agile environment.

Your goal will be to create tailored solutions that elevate client satisfaction and deliver measurable improvements in service quality.


What You'll Need

* Industry Insight: A strong understanding of the Markets industry and the ability to anticipate evolving customer needs.

* Data-Driven Storytelling: Proven experience in analysing data from multiple sources to build compelling, evidence-based narratives for senior partners.

* Strategic Delivery: A track record of designing and implementing strategies that align with business goals and enhance customer value through differentiated service.

* Customer Advocacy: The ability to identify and resolve customer detriment through effective collaboration across teams.

* Problem Solving: Sound judgement and technical know-how to evaluate options and define clear, actionable solutions.

* Influence and Communication: Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels.

* Cross-Team Collaboration: Experience working across business areas to deliver seamless customer experiences, ideally including direct customer-facing engagement.

* Delivery Excellence: track record for delivery to timescales and effective management of risks and issues.
