Base pay range

At Marshall Volvo Derby we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified Service Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. Whether you’re already an expert or developing your craft, we’ll support your growth with state-of-the-art facilities, a friendly team and manufacturer training that keeps you on top of your game.
In this role
* You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work. For top end of the advertised rate you will complete EV work, complex diagnostic repairs and support the less skilled technicians in the workshop.
* You’ll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
* You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.
* Level 3 qualification required (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent). If you have a Level 2 qualification we would love to support you in your growth and there are packages available to suit.
* Experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
* Strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
* MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
* Most importantly, you’re eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
