Job Description
Our client, a reputable law firm based in Sidcup, is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Legal Assistant with at least 12 months of experience in conveyancing. This full‑time, office‑based role requires the successful candidate to work 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting conveyancers in managing a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
* Drafting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence.
* Conducting searches and completing necessary documentation.
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other third parties.
* Maintaining and updating client files and records accurately.
* Providing administrative support to the conveyancing team, including diary management and scheduling appointments.
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.
Requirements
* Minimum 12 months of experience working in a conveyancing role.
* Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legal requirements.
* Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
