Your Role
As a Data Management Consultant, you will be at the forefront of guiding organisations in effectively managing and leveraging their data assets to drive strategic business outcomes. Your expertise will be critical in helping clients navigate the complexities of modern data landscapes, focusing on data quality, security, governance, and metadata management. The role requires a grasp of the evolving data landscape, proficiency in data management best practices, and an interest in AI and its applications. Specifically:
* Provide guidance and advisory services on data governance, ethics, metadata, and MDM solutions.
* Leverage cutting-edge technologies, including machine learning and analytics, to enhance data quality and automate governance tasks.
* Shape and execute data management engagements, including strategy and implementation in areas like Data Governance, Data Ethics, Data Modelling, Data Architecture, Data Quality, and MDM.
* Assess clients' data maturity using frameworks like DCAM and DAMA, through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
* Build trusted client relationships, addressing challenges in data management, analytics, and AI delivery.
* Advise on maximizing data-driven insights for business decisions, including emerging trends in data governance.
* Support large-scale data transformations from conceptualization to implementation, aligning with business objectives.
* Collaborate on innovation initiatives exploring new data and AI concepts.
* Establish robust data capabilities within client organizations, including organizational design and skills development.
* Contribute to practice development through market opportunity identification and thought leadership.
Your Profile
* Demonstrated ability to drive innovation in data management using modern technologies.
* Proven capacity to create value through effective data utilization, process optimization, and strategic insights.
* Leadership potential demonstrated through relevant experience and success.
* Proficiency in data quality, security, governance, metadata, and tooling like Informatica and Collibra.
* Knowledge of industry frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK, CMMI, and DCAM.
* Strategic thinking to align data initiatives with organizational goals.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Commitment to continuous learning about data strategies and trends.
* Experience delivering solutions in agile environments involving data, analytics, or AI.
