Title: Product Manager | High Content Screening (HCS)

Summary:
The Product Manager for HCS is a global role responsible for innovation and growth of our cellular imaging business. Leads the strategy and roadmap for our market-leading HCS product portfolio, including definition, requirements analysis, and pricing. Drives the development of business plans, assesses market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue, and market share. Consolidates broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies and develops marketing tools for successful product introductions. Communicates customer feedback to engineering, manufacturing, and sales to enhance the in vivo software portfolio and the overall in vivo portfolio. Leads new product definition and business plans within the cellular imaging product management team and joint departments.
The candidate should be a dynamic thinker, demonstrate the ability to translate business goals into well-defined performance plans and projects for their organization and cross-functional partners, be results-driven, and show urgency for achieving goals. A track record of success in product management or sales in the HCS market is required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Defines HCS software, hardware, and workflow strategy and roadmap.
2. Translates customer needs into solution requirements.
3. Collaborates with R&D and software development to deliver the product roadmap and provide continuous customer-centric value-added capabilities.
4. Provides planning, project management support, and sales training for product launches.
5. Coordinates with Marketing to support market research, customer and field communications, and the development of analytics to support decision-making.
6. Keeps abreast of market trends and assesses the viability of new technologies.
7. Develops relationships with key opinion leaders worldwide.
8. Monitors competitive landscape, aligning strategy and tactics to drive growth.
9. Partners across functions for problem-solving with customers, operations, quality, sales, etc., and aids in removing barriers to growing business sales and expanding the portfolio.
10. Drives continuous improvement processes cross-functionally to enhance top-line growth, margin, and customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Degree in a technical discipline, ideally in the sciences.
2. Minimum of 5 years of life science product management or sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in R&D, commercial leadership, and/or Product Management related to developing and launching such products.
2. Proven business leadership skills with 10+ years in Product Management, Strategy, or Commercial roles, preferably in Life Sciences.
3. Ability to develop strategic plans that meet business and customer needs.
4. Strong business acumen, analytical, decision-making, communication, and influencing skills.
5. Ability to achieve results in a cross-functional team environment, demonstrating leadership, goal/result orientation, and strong communication skills.
