Im currently working with an established and growing high street firm to recruit a Legal Assistant - Private Client.
The firm has built a strong reputation for supporting both local and national communities with a practical, client-focused approach. With over 110 qualified and non-qualified professionals across Staffordshire, Birmingham, the West Midlands, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking team.
This is an exciting, fast-paced role within one of the UKs top 30 conveyancing practices, offering structure, progression and a genuinely positive working culture.
The Role
You will support the Private Client department, assisting with matters including:
* Wills
* Probate
* Lasting Powers of Attorney
* General Private Client administration
You’ll be working closely with fee earners, managing diaries, handling dictation and ensuring files are progressed efficiently while maintaining high standards of client care.
About You
* Minimum 12 months experience as a Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant within Private Client
* Experience dealing with Wills, Probate and LPAs
* Confident utilising dictation and audio typing
* Strong diary management skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Excellent, accurate keyboard and word processing skills
* Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
* Strong attention to detail
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and face to face)
