The Engineering Level 2 Diploma Apprenticeship is a comprehensive programme designed to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a career in engineering. Candidates will work 4 days onsite at Norbrook and study 1 day per week at SRC. The apprenticeship combines practical training with theoretical study, offering a solid foundation for further professional development.
Main Tasks/Activities:
* Assist engineers in designing, testing, and implementing engineering solutions.
* Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
* Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
* Document work activities including observations, measurements, and test results.
* Adhere to GMP standards and maintain a quality-oriented mindset.
Essential Criteria:
* GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
* Solid interest in developing a career in engineering
* Good communication skills (verbal and written)
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and strong problem-solving skills
Duration:
2 years
