This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be working closely with the class teacher to support pupils both academically and socially, helping them build confidence, stay engaged, and enjoy learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Assisting with lessons across a range of subjects
* Helping to manage behaviour and keep pupils engaged
* Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
* Encouraging positive social interaction and confidence
* Assisting with day-to-day classroom organisation and activities
