Are you an organised, proactive and detail-driven Legal Secretary looking to take the next step in your career? A highly respected UK law firm is seeking a forward-thinking Legal Secretary to join its vibrant Commercial, Technology & Intellectual Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity to support a dynamic group of specialist solicitors who work across multiple offices, delivering high-quality commercial contracts and IP services to clients across the UK and internationally.

The Comm Tech & IP department is known for its energy, expertise and collaborative working style. You’ll be joining a team with exceptional technical capability, a practical approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to excellent client service.You’ll also work closely with specialists located across a number of regional and London offices.
The Role
As a Legal Secretary within this practice area, you will provide high-level administrative and organisational support to a group of fee earners. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless service delivery to clients and contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce and format legal documentation to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and alignment with house style
* Proofread all work with meticulous attention to detail
* Demonstrate strong Microsoft Word skills, including formatting, amending and numbering documents
* Manage diaries and organise meetings using Microsoft Outlook
* Process expenses, payment requisitions and returned advances
* Assist proactively with client onboarding processes
* Update and maintain client contact details on internal databases
* Ensure electronic and paper filing is accurate and up to date
* Handle internal and external telephone queries professionally
* Support team initiatives and wider departmental activities
* Provide cover and assistance to other secretaries to ensure consistent service levels
