Salary: Up to £35,000 + Bonus, Overtime, Pension, Ongoing training and development
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Power Electronics Laboratory Technician with a leading engineering company located in Stevenage. This role is perfect for dedicated individuals who are passionate about power electronics and thrive in a laboratory environment.
Power Electronics Laboratory TechnicianKey Responsibilities:
* Conduct laboratory tests and evaluations on power electronics components and systems.
* Utilise skills in soldering, crimping, assembly, and prototyping to support product development.
* Ensure compliance with IPC standards, including IPC 610 and IPC 620.
* Engage in rework and surface mount technology (SMT) processes to refine prototypes.
* Collaborate closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in power electronics design and laboratory testing.
* Strong hands-on skills in soldering, crimping, and assembly.
* Familiarity with IPC standards and testing methodologies.
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
