What We're Doing: Introducing Restart - our new digital volunteer pilot program designed to tackle challenges faced by students and recent graduates in the fashion industry. Who We're Looking For: A passionate, organised, and skilled Research Assistant to help drive our mission. The ideal candidate will be interested in sustainability, fashion, social impact, and have a curiosity about AI. You'll possess excellent research, communication, and project management abilities. Responsibilities: • Conduct in-depth research to support ReStart’s goals, including trends in AI and sustainable fashion. • Fact-check information and research trends in sustainability, fashion, and digital inclusion. • Interview key figures. • Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations. • Support women-led BAME sustainable fashion SMEs. Activities: • As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to these exciting initiatives: • Assisting our team in developing our online learning platform and sustainable fashion marketplace • Supporting our “People-first” fashion week showcases, influencer press events, and ethical fashion accelerator and fund projects • Assisting early-stage women and minority-owned sustainable and ethical businesses • Participating in community outreach programs to empower women and minority garment workers • Helping develop and market our ethical AI co-founder "Hattie", including shaping her online persona and presence.
