Support Worker – NightsLocation: BristolSalary: £28,510 per annumContract: Permanent, Full Time (37 hours)Hours: 7pm–6am | 4 nights on / 4 nights offThe Role We are recruiting a Nights Support Worker to provide out-of-hours support in an accommodation-based service for young people aged 16–25. You will help maintain a safe, supportive environment and support residents to move towards positive outcomes.Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the safety and security of the building and residents
* Provide housing management, welfare advice, and practical support
* Engage with young people, offering guidance, emotional support, and signposting
* Carry out room and building checks and report repairs
* Maintain accurate records, including incidents and risk assessments
* Respond to emergencies and safeguarding concerns
* Manage low-level anti-social behaviour
About You
* Experience working with young people, particularly those with complex needs or homelessness in Support Worker role
* Knowledge of safeguarding, housing, welfare benefits, and risk management
* Confident lone worker with strong communication skills
* Able to build trust while maintaining professional boundaries
* Flexible to work nights and weekends
Qualifications
* Level 3 qualification (or working towards) in youth work, health & social care, mental health, or housing
* IT literate with good written skills
* Desirable: Safeguarding, Mental Health First Aid, or coaching qualifications
