Overview
Theatre Practitioner Anaesthetics at The Droitwich Spa Hospital, 37.5 hours/week, permanent. Salary: Up to £44,000.00 per year, depending on experience, training, and qualification.

We are seeking a Theatre Practitioner to join our theatre team. This is a full-time role requiring flexibility in shift patterns.
Duties Include
1. Assist the surgical team by preparing instruments, maintaining sterility, supporting the Anaesthetist, and providing post-operative care.
2. Adhere to infection prevention and control policies.
3. Set up operating theatres according to surgery type and patient needs.
4. Check all surgical and anaesthetic equipment prior to use and report faults.
5. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
6. Support a positive and efficient theatre environment.
Applicants Should Meet the Following Criteria
1. Registered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC).
2. Experience or training in a theatre environment.
3. Understanding of infection control, manual handling, and patient safety.
4. Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, and adapt quickly.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Attention to detail and commitment to safe practice.
