Everest Insurance has an opportunity for an experienced claims professional to join our Financial Lines Claims team in London. This individual will be responsible for the handling of all Financial Institutions, Management Liability (including Directors & Officers), Professional Indemnity, Warranty & Indemnity, and Cyber claims underwritten from the UK on our Syndicate and Company platforms. Working on claims from first notice to ultimate resolution, the ideal candidate will be experienced in investigating, analysing and evaluating the liability and damages. In this role, the successful applicant will be hands on with the review and analysis of complex coverage issues and preparation of timely coverage position, setting case reserves, and working on executing claim, and resolution, strategies. The Financial Lines Claims Adjuster will work closely with the wider team and internal stakeholders, but also be active with panel vendors, Coverholders and TPAs on delegated underwriting business. We are seeking an individual who will attend meetings and industry functions to support retention and development of client relationships and business. Qualifications, Education & Experience: Experience handling claims in one or more of these lines of business, preferably in a Lead capacity. Strong analytical, organisational and prioritising skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation and investigation skills. Ability to think strategically. Ability to influence others and resolve complex, disputed claims. Ability to evaluate, manage and present claims MI as appropriate, both internally and externally, to all applicable stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of the legal landscape in multiple jurisdictions. Experience working with a global insurance company, across multiple underwriting platforms advantageous. Good working understanding of London Market claims systems, i.e., ECF, IMR, Trax, etc. Thorough understanding of policies within the Financial Lines arena.
