Deputy Home Manager
Location: Knutsford, WA16
Salary: £24.00 per hour (£49,000 per annum) + paid breaks & benefits
Hours: Full-Time, Days (40 hours per week, 8am-4pm shifts)
Time Recruitment is seeking an experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our client's charming Victorian care home, located near Knutsford Town Centre. This family-run, award-winning group has consistently been recognized as a Top 20 Large Care Home Group for the past three years and is renowned for its dedication to staff development, inclusion, and diversity. The home, rated 'Good' with the CQC, is managed by a highly skilled nurse-qualified manager. As Deputy Home Manager, you will work closely with the manager and a dedicated, long-standing team to provide exceptional care across a 48-bed facility offering residential care, dementia care, general nursing, palliative care, and dementia nursing.
Key Responsibilities for the Deputy Manager:
- Oversee and support the nursing team
- Ensure high standards of clinical governance and auditing
- Lead staff development and training initiatives
- Rota planning and skill-mix management
- Assist with CQC preparations and assessments
- Provide hands-on resident care
- Liaise with residents' families and ensure excellent communication
