Senior Facilities Manager - Commercial Facilities Management
Location: Central London
Salary: Up to £60,000
We’re working with one of the UK’s most respected property companies, known for their high-quality service, landmark portfolios, and excellent staff retention.
They are currently seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to join their Commercial Facilities Management team on a permanent basis.
About the Role
The Senior Facilities Manager will oversee the management of seven commercial properties in a prime central area. This role requires a commitment to delivering smooth operations, exceptional customer service, and high-end occupier experiences. With multiple internal and external stakeholders, the ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining clear and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day management of a Central London commercial portfolio.
* Oversee day-to-day building operations, amenities, and occupier satisfaction.
* Manage procurement, contracts, supplier performance (KPIs), and invoice validation.
* Ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues and compliance with health & safety standards.
* Conduct property inspections and support service charge budgeting with Management Surveyors.
* Manage minor works, M&E projects, and building accreditation to high standards.
* Liaise with stakeholders, cover team absences, and support national/regional FM strategies and training.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
* 5+ years’ FM experience with strong Managing Agent and commercial property knowledge.
* Skilled in managing portfolios, contracts, soft/hard services, and compliance.
* Knowledge of ESG, sustainability, and landlord-tenant dynamics.
* Experience in community engagement, events, and place-making.
* Proven team management and performance review experience.
* IOSH qualified; NEBOSH and IWFM membership desirable.
* Professional, adaptable, self-driven, and well-organised communicator.
