Job Title: Commercial Litigation Solicitor (2+ PQE)

I’m currently working with a well-regarded commercial law firm in Liverpool that is looking to strengthen its Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution team with the addition of a talented solicitor.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a partner-led team that handles a wide range of high-quality, complex disputes, acting for a strong client base including owner-managed businesses, corporates, directors, shareholders and investors.

The Role
You’ll be joining a busy disputes team, working closely with experienced partners while also having the autonomy to manage your own caseload.
The work is varied and commercially focused, including:
* Contractual disputes
* Shareholder/director disputes
* Professional negligence
* Debt recovery
* Property litigation (including landlord & tenant disputes)
* Contentious probate
* Insolvency-related matters
* Injunctive relief and other business-critical disputes
You’ll be involved in matters from initial instruction through to resolution, including trial where required.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
* Drafting pleadings, applications and pre-action correspondence
* Advising clients on strategy, risk and commercial outcomes
* Handling disclosure, witness and expert evidence
* Attending hearings, mediations and settlement discussions
* Supporting on larger, more complex matters
* Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development
About You
* Qualified Solicitor with 2+ PQE in Commercial Litigation/Dispute Resolution
* Strong working knowledge of the CPR and litigation process
* Confident managing files and dealing directly with clients
* Commercially aware with strong communication and drafting skills
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise effectively
