ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
We are seeking a proactive cleaner to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment for customers and staff. As an ABM cleaning operative, your responsibilities include delivering high-standard cleaning services within the building. Tasks involve cleaning floors in reception areas, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, removing larger objects from floors, spot cleaning glass doors/windows, cleaning stainless-steel fixtures, barriers, glass panels, and dry mopping black marble pillars inside and outside the premises.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Clean and sanitize lifts, wipe all external and internal stainless-steel surfaces on lift doors, frames, and runners, remove smudges from mirrors, sweep and mop floors.
* Clean restrooms/showers, empty trash, sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors, shower cubicle partition doors/walls, and mop tile floors.
* Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
* Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
* Assist team leaders/supervisors to ensure optimal service delivery.
* Perform additional duties as needed within reason.
* Participate in monthly training sessions as directed by supervisors/line managers.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to use initiative to prioritize tasks.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Approachable and courteous manner.
* Interest in working in an adult services environment.
* Understanding of confidentiality and discretion in a corporate setting.
