The Role: Teaching with Impact, Not QTS This pivotal role focuses on relationship-based teaching for students who have faced significant educational and social barriers. While Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is NOT required, you must have substantial experience, expertise, and passion in a field relevant to working with disengaged or vulnerable young people. What You Will Do: Deliver Bespoke Learning: Plan and teach engaging, highly differentiated lessons to small groups or 1:1, focusing on core subjects (e.g., Functional Skills Maths/English) or a vocational/specialist area (e.g., Outdoor Education, Construction, Creative Arts). Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Use a trauma-informed and restorative approach to manage complex and challenging behaviour, creating a safe, consistent, and nurturing learning environment.
