Join our growing Engineering family as a Multi Skilled or Fabric Engineer, delivering essential building fabric maintenance across a diverse client base. From minor plumbing and carpentry to painting and patch repairs, your work will help keep a large commercial office complex running smoothly. You'll be part of a supportive team, ensuring landlord areas are safe, functional, and welcoming. If you've got basic electrical or plumbing skills, are physically fit, and thrive in varied environments—including working at heights or in confined spaces—this role offers both challenge and reward. Strong communication and IT skills are key, as you'll be updating clients and logging tasks digitally.

This role exists to ensure the continuous operation and upkeep of building fabric within a busy commercial complex—supporting tenant satisfaction and maintaining high standards across all landlord-managed areas.

Responsibilities:

As a Multi Skilled or Fabric Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering a range of building fabric maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and patch repairs. You'll support the upkeep of landlord areas within a large commercial office complex, ensuring all services remain operational for tenants. The role involves hands-on work, regular client updates, and accurate digital record-keeping of inspections, remedial works, and service logs.

Requirements:

5. Experience in building fabric maintenance, including tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, and patch repairs.
6. Basic electrical and/or plumbing knowledge, ideally gained within the building services or facilities management sector.
7. Physically fit and comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and performing manual handling tasks.
8. Strong communication and IT skills, with the ability to update clients and accurately log tasks and inspections digitally.
9. Background in a trade or facilities management, with either formal qualifications or demonstrable hands-on experience.
