Location: London – 2 days a week in the office
Salary: £75,000 - Fixed term contract with potential for perm.
Why This Role?
You’ll be stepping into a business mid-transformation—cloud migration, AI integration, ripping out legacy systems, the works. The roadmap’s drafted, the projects are live, and they need someone who knows how to get things delivered without needing their hand held.
This is maternity cover, but it’s not a holding role—you’ll have your hands full keeping big projects moving while helping reset the longer-term IT direction.
The Setup
You’ll be managing internal tech teams, vendors, budgets, and a lot of moving parts. Priorities will shift. Projects will evolve. There’s no one sitting behind you steering, you’ll be expected to keep delivery on track while balancing business demands and regulatory pressures.
If you’re looking for a neat, predictable IT environment, this isn’t it. If you like fixing problems while you're still moving forward, you’ll probably enjoy it.
What They Need
* Someone who's led big IT projects—cloud migration, platform rollouts, system integrations.
* Experience juggling budgets, suppliers, risk logs, and change controls without losing sight of delivery.
* Someone who knows how to keep infrastructure, operations, and dev teams moving in the same direction.
* Comfortable reporting up to leadership and adjusting course when the business needs change.
* Solid understanding of compliance and regulation in a corporate environment.
* Thick enough skin to handle changing priorities without needing therapy.
Day-to-Day
* Keep cloud migration and transformation projects alive and moving.
* Manage internal teams and external partners to timelines and budgets.
* Handle governance, reporting, risk tracking, and stakeholder updates without turning it into a drama.
* Work closely with senior leadership to keep the IT roadmap realistic and aligned.
* Deal with the stuff no one sees coming without kicking off about it.
